Beach, Volcano and Rafting

Day 1 L.D

A driver will pick you up in your hotel in San José. For a one day Pacuare River Rafting San Martin to Siquirres (18 miles). A trip of pure wildlife and ravishing rapids. After finishing this tour we will pick you up at Siquirres and will take you to Almonds and Corals Lodge Tented Camp.

Day 2 L.D

Enjoy a good breakfast sited in the middle of the jungle. A visit to Natura Park will impress you. In a 1300 meters trail in the middle of the jungle, you will appreciate a collection of medicinal plants, a frog land of poisonous species, and you will experience visiting an indigenous Bribri Village including some of its ancestor’s secrets. Toucans, monkeys, howler monkeys, sloths, hawks, among other species can be easily seen.

Day 3 L.D

6:30 a.m. After breakfast we will take you to Siquirres for you to get to the bus to Mawamba Lodge in Tortuguero National Park. Breakfast and a stop at a Banana Plantation is included. Transfer by boat through the canals of Tortuguero to get to Mawamba Lodge. Lunch and dinner are included.

Day 4 L.D

After early breakfast we will be riding in a boat, specially designed to travel through the canals of Tortuguero National Park. This park is also the most important nesting ground for the green sea turtle in the Western Caribbean.

Day 5 B.L.D

Very early in the morning and after breakfast we will leave Tortuguero. On the way back to San Jose lunch will be served at Rio Danta Restaurant. After lunch a driver will take you to La Quinta de Sarapiqui Lodge. It is a perfect place for bird watching or to relax lying in a hammock. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 B.L.D

After breakfast a visit to La Selva Biological Station is included. Free afternoon.

Day 7 B. L

Breakfast. Free morning and transfer back to San Jose.
